Exchange House runs a number of Youth Educational Away Programmes throughout the year.

These programmes target those young Travellers most at risk of anti-social behaviour or those who do not access mainstream services. Exchange House also engages with local schools to identify young Travellers most at risk of early school leaving and includes those young people on the Educational Away Programmes.

Exchange House Youth Workers engage with these young Travellers on an educational level in a positive and informal setting. The Programmes consist of year-round outdoor activities, team building and personal development programmes. Positive relationships are developed, as are social and communication skills, thus creating positive role models for young Travellers.
